Design Engineer

The Client is a holding company of seven main
subidiaries with operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the
Philippines, Indochina, India, China and Australia. The company in
S'pore is a regional electronic and computer components distributor and
service provider that distributes the most comprehensive range of
components.
Job Scope:
-
Involved in requirements management,
analysis/design, implementation, testing, integration and maintenance
of the systems
-
Design, develop and validate DSP electronic hardware for high
performance image processing using ADC/DAC, FPGA and DSP
-
Follow through to hardware and software integration to
testing of embedded systems
-
Manages software and firmware troubleshooting and resolution.

Handle documentation of system
functional requirement, specification, design and test reports
Requirements:
-
Degree or Master in
Electrical/Electronic Engineering
-
At least 2 years' experience in electronic/electrical circuit
design and programming skills in hardware design using
microprocessor/DSP/FPGA
-
Working experience in C/C++ programming and porting of
Standard C program to TI DSP, Intel XScale or ADI DSP architecture
-
Strong interest in image processing and computer vision
technology
-
Customter oriented, able to learn independently and work
systematically under tight schedules.

Must be able to travel for
work attachment and training

Salary: Up
to $2,800 to $4,000, depending on relevant experience
